Jordan Toothaker is a junior here at Cimarron High School. She has been in art since junior high. This years piece was a continuing series of her piece last year. Last year she did a kimono glue print and it turned out to be one of her favorite pieces. This year Jordan created a koi fish glue print. She was scared it wouldn’t be as good as her first piece but she ended up liking it more. Jordan used the contrast colors orange and blue in order to make her piece stand out and because they complement each other very well. The head of the fish in both prints are the most important because it is the focal point and has the most details. Jordan describes this piece being more stylistic than realistic like all her other pieces.
