Landyn is a junior high student at Cimarron High School. Landyn was chosen to be the artist of the month. The piece he drew was his face portrait. All the students had to do there own face portrait. He wanted to make his piece to pop out, he wanted to show curves and expression. While working on his piece he panicked and didn’t think he was gonna get it right, he was nervous but in the end it turned out great! Landyn would say the most important part of his piece would be his eyes, because it shows more expression, and he loved the way he put detail into it. The strategy he used was pen and ink. Landyn would describe his piece as fun and sad, only because he put a lot of feeling and emotion into it.
