Grace Greene is a Senior at Cimarron High School. Grace grew up in Goodland, Kansas and moved to Cimarron at the beginning of her eighth-grade year. She has participated in many clubs and extracurricular activities including KAY Club, STUCO, NHS, FCCLA, Choir, Band, Forensics, and Golf. Grace’s role model is Irena Sendler, who was a Polish woman that rescued 2,500 Jewish children during WWII. Grace said, “She’s my role model because of the braveness she showed even during the hardest of times.” The biggest accomplishment of her high school career is making friends that she’ll always have with her. Her favorite memory from high school was going to the football games with her class. Grace’s plans for after high school is to attend Kansas State University and major in music-ed. In ten years, she sees herself teaching choir in a small school district. After being asked what she would tell someone who is coming into high school, she responded with, “Don’t procrastinate.”
