The South West KMEA (Kansas Music Educator Association) launched a new Piano Scholarship Festival that was held in Haviland at the Barclay College on Saturday, October 27th.  There were three prizes given that day and Cheyenne Benton won 3rd place which gives her $100 towards the college of her choice once she graduates.  This festival will be offered again next year towards the end of October and is open to SW District students through their instructors at school.  Congratulations Cheyenne!!
