A couple weeks ago, the sequel for R.L Stine’s Goosebumps came out, it was much more thrilling than I expected. I have noticed a lot of Halloween movies always turn out to be very raunchy, but this one was for sure the best one I’ve seen so far. Basically, Goosebumps 2 was a continuation of the first one. In the first one, R.L Stine (Jack Black) lives in an ordinary town, trying to live an ordinary life. No one in the town knows he is R.L Stine. Then a new family moves in next door, and their son Zach (Dylan Minnette), befriends his daughter Hannah(Odeya Rush). The kids get into some trouble when they find a cursed book R.L. Stine wrote and they open it, letting Slappy the Dummy loose. Later in the movie, Slappy goes and makes every monster in his books come to life and takes over the town. He tries to conquer everything but R.L Stine goes in and finishes the book to where Slappy is stopped. But the story was never done…..thus leaving room for a sequel.

In Goosebumps 2, the story is continued and takes a very wrong turn early on in the movie. In the movie two boys go into a house and discover a book, no one was meant to find. They open it up (again) and let a curse out. Halloween has been taken over by Slappy once again!

Both these movies were really good and I would really encourage you to go out and watch Goosebumps 2, and if you haven’t watched the first one then go watch both!
